Minutes & actions

After a meeting, record the minutes, decisions and actions directly in Haunch. Decisions are automatically added to the project audit trail.

Writing minutes

  1. 1Open the meeting record from the Meetings tab.
  2. 2Click Edit minutes.
  3. 3Use the text area to record the discussion, items covered and any context.
  4. 4Click Save.

Logging decisions

Decisions are separate from general minutes. A decision is a specific agreed outcome — a design choice, a sign-off, a change of scope. Log decisions using the + Add decision button within the meeting record.

Each decision you log lands in the project audit trail automatically, timestamped and attributed to the meeting.

TipLog decisions as they happen during the meeting rather than reconstructing them afterwards. The audit trail timestamp reflects when the record is created.

Recording actions

  1. 1Within the meeting record, click + Add action.
  2. 2Describe the action, assign it to a team member, and set a due date.
  3. 3Click Save. The action becomes a task in the project task list, linked back to the meeting.
NoteActions created from meetings appear in the assignee's task list alongside all other project tasks. They're distinguishable by the meeting link shown in the task detail.
